Welcome to Energy Alton

Energy Alton is a community partnership of dozens of Alton organisations, underpinned by Greening Alton and Holybourne. The aim is to spread awareness of the benefits of greater energy efficiency and to give practical help to people who want to insulate their homes, save energy, and reduce their energy bills.

We're not selling anything - just giving free advice to help you save. This is a community project almost entirely reliant on volunteers. Everyone is welcome to get involved.

The grant had to be spent by the end of March 31st 2012 and we made that happen by helping over 600 people. But things went so well, we didn't want to stop so we've secured the Energy Advice Centre for another four months. So we'll be open all the way through until the end of July, offering free loft and cavity wall insulation for everyone and free home energy surveys, free thermal images, free draught-proofing workshops, free help for your to switch to the best tarrif and free expert clinics every Saturday.
